Cybersecurity Summer Intern (Hybrid, NC)
Join RTX Corporation's Enterprise Services team to assist with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts
Research emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies
Collaborate with the team to update security policies and procedures
Provide support for user awareness training on cybersecurity best practices
About You:
Candidates must have:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Cybersecurity
Not graduating before August 2025
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
U.S. citizenship
Preferred qualifications include:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior coursework or personal projects in cybersecurity
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $37,000 - $82,000. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Eligibility for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs is possible.
