Cybersecurity Senior Engineer - DevOps/SRE (Remote)

Position Purpose:
The Home Depot Cybersecurity team is looking to bring on a Senior DevOps Engineer to help protect what matters most to our associates and consumers by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats.
Job Title Responsibilities
Ā Ability to perform risk assessment/analysis in order to Identify potential risks to IT infrastructure /applications in order to assess their impact on business operations.
Ā Ability to review, design and potentially develop System Monitoring tools to continually evaluate system performance and availability.
Ā Ability to assist with reviewing/analyzing business impacting Incidents in order to identify trends, investigate the cause and eventual resolution.
Ā If required, Review, refine, implement, and assist with maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Ā Enforce regular testing of disaster recovery plans and processes to ensure effectiveness and readiness.
Ā Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to align resiliency strategies with business objectives.
Ā Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, procedures, and recovery strategies.
Ā Ensure incident response plans our outlined/documented properly to ensure rapid response to IT incidents to minimize impact.
Ā Educate/train resiliency practices and procedures.

SKILLS
Ā Ability to Troubleshoot (Network, Firewalls, OS, applications)
Ā Preferred to have experience with IAM Systems (PING/SSO, CyberArk, Venafi, Active Directory/ VDS )
Ā Understand Operating systems (windows/Linux) from an administration point of view
Ā Experience with Automation and Scripting (python, powershell)
Ā Experience with Observability tools ( Wavefront, Looker, Grafana etc); Grafana is a plus.
Ā Experience with Cloud/Cloud Native Environments
