Our Instructors are role models for the students studying in our cybersecurity program. They mentor students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, and teach them the skills necessary to be great cybersecurity professionals. They guide students through the program and into their future careers, ensuring all students get the most out of both, regardless of their background. What you will do Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently Offer personalized support through 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills Share your professional insights and best practices to support the learning community Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions Requirements You have 3+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Experience with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and more. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Oracle VirtualBox) and cloud technologies. Familiarity with cloud security tools like CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, Prisma Cloud, and more. Experience in incident response and crisis management within a business environment. You have 3+ years of experience working in tech industry (experience with the U.S. market is a plus) and have been exposed to cybersecurity standards, such as NIST, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks. Availability for full-time collaboration (approximately 40 hours per week) A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with the evolving field of Cybersecurity Fluent English: this role involves speaking directly with English-speaking students, so strong spoken communication is essential We appreciate it if you have: Teaching or tutoring experience Have your own experience as a student online, and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study Cybersecurity What we can offer you Fixed monthly compensation of $2,800-$3,500; Fully remote role with a consistent weekly schedule, 8-hour workdays, five days a week, scheduled between 10 AM and 2 AM ET (Monday through Sunday).
