Cyber Research Consultant(AI Red Team)

Position: Sr. Cyber Security Research Consultant (AI Red Team) Contract Term: 24 months, with a potential for a full-time conversion with the client Approved Locations: Fully remote Background:The client'soffensive team is forming their first ever AI Red team. Job Description: Our Offensive Security Research team is looking for a Cyber Security Researcher to perform cybersecurity testing against AI technologies from a red team perspective. This position will investigate AI vulnerabilities, analyze their impacts, and recommend appropriate security responses. It will work with technology leaders and solution owners to educate and raise awareness of responsible deployment of technology. In this role, you will: • Lead and contribute to the research, design, testing, and implementation of advanced AI solutions across networks, infrastructure, and applications. • Perform Ethical AI Red Team Testing, utilizing hacking tools and your knowledge of technology to simulate threat actor techniques, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and assess vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitability. • Assist Incident Response & Forensics teams when needed by analyzing AI security incidents and breaches, contributing to technical investigations and response strategies. • Provide guidance to cybersecurity researchers, focusing on growing the knowledge base for AI red teaming and offensive security disciplines. • Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and leadership to resolve issues and drive strategic AI security initiatives. Consult in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex AI systems for company information and network systems and applications. Required Qualifications: • 2+ years of AI Cyber Security Research experience • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: creating proof of concepts, creating exploits, or reverse engineering demonstrated through work or military experience • 3+ Years of converged testing (red team testing), or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education • 3+ Years of experience presenting complex technical topics to diverse stakeholder groups • 3+ Years of writing technical reports explaining attack chains and cyber security vulnerabilities and their impact • General knowledge and understanding of machine learning concepts, LLMs, and agentic AI technologies(Experience with Prompt Foo or Model Armor) Desired: • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK, ATLAS, and/or OWASP Top 10 LLM frameworks • Experience working in a regulated environment" Apply tot his job
