CWC: Machine Operator I - 3rd Shift - $21.45/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium
Essential Duties:
• Attend and participate in team MDI meetings.
• Accurately account for labor using time clocks, Apriso system, and the specific codes for the department and job.
• Stock work area with needed materials.
• Work in a team to run machines or production lines.
• Perform minor process adjustments to machines e.g. clear jams from packing machines or bagger machines.
• Coordinate and communicate when a technician is needed for problems with production equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and keep area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain GMP, GDP and quality standards.
• Complete all required training in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and mission statement.
• Perform or assist with in-process quality checks where applicable.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and incoming/outgoing shifts when applicable.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must work well in teams and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to correctly read, write, speak, comprehend, and complete documentation in English as it pertains to work related issues.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
Preferred:
• Manufacturing experience in cGMP environment.
Physical Demands:
• Job is performed by standing or walking for the 8-hour shift.
• Must be capable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently with or without mechanical assistance.
• Maneuver material handling devices such as pallet jacks and roll handling equipment.
