Small Group Sales Executive for Employer Groups 2-100 employees
-Works with both Brokers and General Agents
-Responsible for Medical, Dental and Vision quoting/sales production
Develops and cultivates strong relationships with key constituents (producers, plan sponsors and/or consumers depending on business) to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth.
Oversees a book of Insurance brokers/consultant or may develop new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.
Ensures product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives. Manages and builds producer relations as needed depending on book of business or market segment(s) being supported.
Identifies various ways to partner with the brokers/consultant by drawing from entire spectrum of product line illustrating a keen understanding of client's multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array (e.g., fully vs. level funding, dental, vision).
Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new customers and to support new-sale activities.
Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of consultative presentations. Will facilitate in person, Virtual and finals presentations. Will need to manage a business plan to help achieve primary goals set for the plan year.
Develops/maintains and communicates expertise on products, industry and emerging marketplace trends.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 48,300
Maximum: 96,600
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5+ years of industry and sales experience depending on business segment being supported and the products and services being sold.
- Must hold a valid insurance license required by each respective state.
- Knowledge of Excel
- Proficiency with desktop software applications such as e-mail, Word, PowerPoint, WebEx, TEAMs, Salesforce.
- FL Health & Life Insurance Agent license or obtain within 90 days
