Job Summary As a CVS Health Part-Time Retail Associate, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and supporting our pharmacy staff. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating and addressing customer needs, and resolving potential issues in a timely and professional manner. Deliver personalized customer experiences, offering warm and friendly greetings, and providing assistance with finding products and services. Accurately process transactions, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision, while adhering to company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking shelves, receiving merchandise, and updating pricing information. Support opening and closing store activities, as needed, and contribute to a safe and secure work environment. Provide customer service across all departments, including pharmacy, photo, and beauty, ensuring that facilities are fully stocked and functional. Assist pharmacy staff, as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support career development and growth. Promote and advocate for new CVS Health services and loyalty programs, aligning with our mission to help people on their path to better health. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and apply visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and visual examination. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CVS Health systems. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer care setting. Knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy, or related industry. Certification in customer service, sales, or related field.
