Customs Trade Coordinator - Remote
Job Summary:
Join FedEx Logistics as a Customs Trade Coordinator, working from the comfort of your own home in Memphis, TN. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth entry of goods into the US by coordinating documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and support to importers, internal staff, and external partners
Obtain accurate classification of goods for customs release using various resources, including databases, SOPs, tariff books, and the internet
Process and submit import-related documentation to US Customs and other Government Agencies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
Ensure adherence to international importing and exporting regulations
Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and external partners to deliver high-quality service
Process agency brokerage shipments and remote filings
Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 6 months of work experience (no industry experience required)
Data entry and keyboard experience required
Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high-volume work
