Customs Brokerage Representative II - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Representative II to join our team at UPS. As a remote employee, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and communicating documentation discrepancy issues with customers and foreign origins, auditing commercial documents, and ensuring compliance with federal requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and forward customs entries to designated locations, interfacing with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers.
Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, and coordinate freight delivery to designated locations.
Audit commercial documents, apply harmonized tariff schedule codes, and ensure compliance with federal requirements.
Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues, and establish and maintain client relationships.
Perform administrative tasks, including preparation of reports/presentations and analysis using various software packages and databases.


Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations, and other government departments.
Basic computer skills and understanding of the HS system.
