The Opportunity

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist at Ensemble Health Partners, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues across the revenue cycle. Key Responsibilities


Respond to patient inquiries regarding statements and account balances
Post guarantor payments and set up payment plans within company policies
Research and resolve issues with accounts identified by patients
Collaborate with other departments to resolve patient requests and concerns
Connect patients with financial counseling services for charity screening and other support
Communicate patient balances and provide excellent customer service
Meet collection goals and targets set by the department
Develop knowledge of all areas of the revenue cycle and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned by management


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a customer service or call center environment
A high school diploma or GED
Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:


Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
Customer service and call center experience
Knowledge of revenue cycle management principles and practices


Certifications and Training

Ensemble Health Partners is committed to supporting the professional development of its associates. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be expected to obtain the CRCR certification within 9 months of hire, which is fully funded by the company.
