Job Overview As a Customer Service Sales Associate - Part Time Retail, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include: Operating a point-of-sale system (cash register), handling cash, and maintaining accurate records of sales transactions Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and providing expert recommendations to guests Restocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring a visually appealing store display Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment Key Responsibilities To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, efficient, and customer-focused. Your key responsibilities will include: Sales and Customer Service Providing exceptional guest experiences by offering personalized product recommendations and resolving any issues that may arise Meeting and exceeding sales targets while maintaining a high level of product knowledge Handling transactions efficiently and maintaining accurate records of sales transactions Merchandising and Inventory Management Maintaining a visually appealing store display and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized Managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed Rotating merchandise to ensure that products are fresh and appealing to guests Teamwork and Communication Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment Communicating effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery Providing feedback and suggestions to improve sales performance and guest satisfaction Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment The ability to stand for up to three hours at a time and lift heavy objects occasionally A minimum of three days per week availability, including one weekend day A willingness to work national/state holidays Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in retail or sales environments Ability to speak multiple languages Knowledge of Disney products and services Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
