Job Summary:
CVS Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team remotely. As a critical member of our team, you will provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, ensuring seamless coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide telephone support to patients, verifying and resolving benefits, and processing new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in a customer service role handling complex customer needs over the phone.
1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
1+ year of computer keyboarding experience.
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
Schedule and Benefits:
Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7:30 PM EST.
Competitive salary: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
