Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls and provide timely, accurate assistance to customers and brokers, addressing inquiries related to new business, renewals, endorsements, inspections, cancellations, and more. Perform daily tasks with a primary focus on call center activities, ensuring efficient issue resolution and exceptional customer satisfaction. Research and resolve customer or broker questions and problems, collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure prompt resolution. Handle agency licensing tasks, including registering new brokers, processing address changes, and managing agency mergers. Input data into our desktop database for all incoming calls, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity. Assist customers at the front desk when necessary, providing a welcoming and supportive experience. Distribute faxes and other correspondence to relevant departments, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution. Facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required, adhering to established procedures and timelines. Participate in individual and group training sessions designed to improve service, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices. Take on additional duties or special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with basic computer skills and proficiency in standard software applications. A minimum of 1 year of insurance experience, with a strong understanding of coverage knowledge and customer service principles. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on phone skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build rapport with diverse stakeholders. The ability to perform moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision, exercising sound decision-making skills and judgment.
