Compensation and Benefits

The wage for this position is $41,600.00 per year. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms.

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Flexible working schedule between 8:00 am - 11:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday
• Strong computer/keyboard skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Superb listening skills with professional oral & written communication
• Empathetic communication style to build trust and accountability

Responsibilities
• Respond to customer requests via telephone or email, providing excellent service
• Research requests regarding policy provisions, claim status, and procedures
• Efficiently process transactions and refer requests as needed
• Enhance customer relationships using effective communication and empathy
• Support service campaigns as required
• Navigate electronic systems to provide integrated responses to inquiries
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications
• New hires must live a commutable distance from Cary, NC
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
• Prior call center experience is highly preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and develop an understanding of company products
• Passion for customer service and commitment to follow-through

Education Requirements

• Some college or professional certification is a plus
