What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle daily member telephone calls, directing them to necessary services, providing education, and resolving issues
Assist providers with eligibility, benefits, and claims problems
Collaborate with the Medical Management Department for service authorizations
Work remotely to ensure efficient service delivery
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service with direct customer contact
Strong communication skills for interactions via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting
Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office or high-volume call center
Familiarity with HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care operations
