Job Responsibilities
Assist patients in resolving billing issues, handling complaints, and setting up payment plans
Document customer complaints and interactions in the appropriate systems
Track trends in customer service encounters and recommend resolutions to supervisors
Provide training and support to new Customer Service Representative I colleagues
Communicate and follow up with stakeholders on customer service activities
Qualifications
High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Up to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with diverse customers
