What You'll Do

As a Remote Customer Service Representative (Healthcare) at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline of healthcare member support, handling inbound and outbound communications via phone and digital channels. Your mission will be to deliver outstanding service that exceeds expectations while accurately addressing member needs. Here's what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:


Provide comprehensive inbound customer support to members seeking assistance with their healthcare insurance inquiries, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and precision
Address benefit-related questions including coverage details, copays, deductibles, in-network providers, and explanation of benefits documents
Verify member eligibility and accurately interpret plan details to provide members with the information they need to make informed healthcare decisions
Process appeals and grievances with attention to detail, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Troubleshoot medical device issues by working with members to identify problems, provide technical guidance, and coordinate with appropriate resources for resolution
Assess all inbound communications to accurately and efficiently address member needs while maintaining a strong customer focus and solution-oriented mindset
Demonstrate patience and compassion in every interaction, especially during challenging situations where members may be frustrated, confused, or dealing with health concerns
Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently to access member information, document interactions, and resolve issues in a timely manner

Essential Qualifications


Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in any industry, demonstrating your ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver positive experiences
Verifiable High School diploma or GED demonstrating foundational education and commitment to professional development
Basic computer navigation skills including proficiency with Windows-based systems, web browsers, email applications, and standard productivity software
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and convey information effectively
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence to be eligible for this remote position
Ability to work full-time schedules including potential shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business requirements
