Key Responsibilities


Handle inbound calls from cardholders, providing exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain up-to-date computerized customer information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Authorize sales, process transactions, and perform other tasks as required.
Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook and other software applications to manage information, respond to customer inquiries, and perform tasks efficiently.


Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


6+ months of customer service experience, or equivalent military experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Proficient computer skills, including the ability to manage multiple windows, type while talking, and utilize Microsoft Outlook.
Ability to work in a quiet, distraction-free environment with access to high-speed internet.
Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and provide fingerprints as part of the selection process.


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:


Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing environment.
Familiarity with Synchrony's products and services, or experience in the financial services industry.
Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations.
