About the Role As a Customer Service Representative - Driving, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, assisting with the maintenance of common areas, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities. Your role will be multifaceted, involving direct customer interaction, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with payment transactions at automated revenue control equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Provide expert guidance on parking services, facilitating the expedient flow of traffic through the facility. Develop and lead initiatives to enhance client and customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement. Support the management of day-to-day activities at the assigned location, ensuring seamless operations. Monitor parkers in pay-in lanes, maintaining a high level of customer service and resolving issues promptly. Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns. Provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle, turning a potentially negative experience into a positive one. Perform various tasks as assigned, including conducting garage and facility audits, counting revenue, making change, and quoting rates for parking services. Maintain a clean and safe environment, picking up trash and ensuring the surrounding area is tidy. Present yourself professionally, adhering to blithequark's uniform and appearance standards. Demonstrate flexibility and reliability, arriving on time for scheduled shifts and adapting to changing circumstances. Qualifications and Requirements To excel as a Customer Service Representative - Driving at blithequark, you'll need: A High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software, or a high aptitude for technology. A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Excellent language skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret English effectively. The capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables. Adaptability and a positive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Sound judgment and a proactive approach, with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in the parking or transportation industries. Familiarity with clock systems (standard/military time) and calculators or credit card machines. A proven track record of effectively responding to customer complaints and resolving issues. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and weather conditions.
