They are seeking a friendly, hard-working Contact Center Representative to provide superior customer service by answering inbound patient calls, scheduling appointments, and supporting clinical departments.ResponsibilitiesSchedule, reschedule, and cancel appointmentsDocument clear and concise messages and route appropriatelyAppropriately transfers calls to other departments when requiredNavigate and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) to access relevant and appropriate informationProcess refill requests accurately and effectively, according to guidelinesConduct outreach calls on behalf of clinical departmentsSkillsHS Diploma/GED requiredExcellent written and verbal communication, judgment and problem solving skillsMinimum of 1 year customer service, administrative, or call center experienceBilingual fluency Spanish/English requiredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of medical terminology and experience working with electronic medical record technology a plusCompany OverviewEast Boston Neighborhood Health Center has become NeighborHealth — and we have a new LinkedIn page!
