Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Professional at Assurant, your role will be multifaceted, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include: Receiving inbound calls from customers who wish to open a claim, providing them with a seamless and supportive experience. Listening attentively to customers' concerns, solving problems, answering questions, and working collaboratively with them to find resolutions. Utilizing your expertise to proactively offer recommendations that help customers avoid future issues, enhancing their overall experience with our services. Demonstrating a customer-centric approach in all interactions, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Professional at Assurant, you should possess: Essential Qualifications: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED. A relentless drive to provide exceptional customer service, with a proven track record of doing so. Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex customer issues effectively. The ability to adapt to change and work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously. The capability to multitask using technology while handling customer calls, ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in handling inbound customer calls and resolving customer complaints. Familiarity with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems. A background in a related field, such as sales, insurance, or telecommunications, can be beneficial. Our hours of operation are from 8 am to 12 am EST, Monday through Sunday, and while we're looking for individuals to work 40 hours a week, shifts can change to meet business needs.
