Customer Service & Logistics Data Analyst Year-Round Intern
About the position
The CS&L (Customer Service & Logistics) Data Analyst Intern is responsible for developing and managing data sets for analytical projects. This role requires attention to detail, an understanding of data analysis tools, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset. The intern will support the CS&L team with data requests, creation of curated data sets, and use analytical tools to answer business questions and provide visibility to data.
Responsibilities
Ā Use SQL to pull and aggregate data for CS&L projects, validating using SAP and other analytical tools as required.

Ā Conduct data cleaning, data merging, data architecture review, and data quality control, while creating documentation for each data request.

Ā Help develop reports, analyses, and visualizations.
,
Ā Train and incorporate feedback from end-users on new reports and dashboards.
,
Ā Work with different members of the CS&L team on reporting and automating analytical needs.

Ā Work cross functionally with different teams on data sets, inputs, and outputs.
Requirements
Ā Minimum 3 upper level college classes in data analytics including data analysis and forecasting, data mining and predictive analytics, system analysis and design and data visualization in business or similarly related classes.

Ā Experience working in databases like Snowflake, Big Query, etc.
,
Ā Experience in SQL programming: ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate systemic defects and validate data quality.

Ā Working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ability to access relational and multidimensional databases.
,
Ā Strong desire to serve the customer, identify and resolve needs and follow up when necessary.
,
Ā Ability to leverage knowledge of numerous data sources (including SAP, external data, and existing internal reports).

Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Ā Ability to learn and work in a changing environment with minimal supervision.

Ā Demonstrated analytical, organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Ā A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new priorities as they come.

Ā Familiar with how to access, input and analyze data in SAP.

Ā Proficiency with planning systems and Google and Microsoft Office products, to include Excel, Google Sheets, Google presentations, etc.
