About the Role

In this critical role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds, understand their needs, and deliver effective solutions. As you navigate through customer interactions, you'll also be responsible for de-escalating issues, escalating interactions when necessary, and tracking call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities


Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that arise, ensuring that each customer feels heard and valued.
Escalate interactions to the appropriate channels when necessary, ensuring timely resolutions to customer inquiries.
Respond to requests for assistance and/or process payments as required.
Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, providing valuable feedback on call issues to help improve our processes.
Provide feedback on call issues to help identify areas for improvement and optimize our customer service experience.
Upsell products or services to enhance the customer experience, if required.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous banking experience, with a deep understanding of banking products and services.
A minimum of 18 years of age.
Proven call center experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
A typing speed of 25 WPM or more, with excellent computer skills and proficiency in PC operation and navigation.
Entry-level network troubleshooting skills, with the ability to set up and configure a router or switch.
Core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer, including the ability to set up home Wi-Fi networks.
The ability to work independently in a remote environment, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
The capacity to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment, staying composed and objective under pressure.
Strong listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs effectively.


Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
Knowledge of banking products and services, with the ability to provide personalized recommendations to customers.
Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
