Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Experience

Greet each customer with a warm, friendly demeanor, establishing immediate rapport.
Listen attentively to customer questions and concerns, providing accurate information and thoughtful solutions.
Demonstrate arenaflex’s service traits by proactively offering assistance, identifying needs, and ensuring satisfaction before the customer leaves the checkout lane.
Model best‑practice customer‑service behaviors for teammates, reinforcing a culture of courtesy, eye‑contact, and respect.


Cashier & Transaction Management

Operate the assigned cash register efficiently, processing sales, returns, exchanges, voids, and rain‑checks with precision.
Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly, ensuring accurate change and adherence to security protocols.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, following arenaflex’s asset‑protection procedures.


Merchandising & Store Presentation

Keep checkout counters, aisles, and shelves tidy, organized, and fully stocked.
Perform inventory counts, price checks, and product placement according to store guidelines and seasonal promotions.
Construct and refresh promotional displays, seasonal layouts, and specialty sections, ensuring visual appeal and compliance with brand standards.
Assist in rotating perishable items using a first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) approach to maximize freshness and reduce waste.


Specialty Services

Provide assistance in the photo kiosk area, guiding customers through digital passport photos, poster printing, and creative machine options.
Handle web‑order pick‑up duties, monitoring orders in the Picture Care Plus system, assembling orders accurately, and delivering them promptly to awaiting customers.
Support compliance with state and local regulations for controlled merchandise, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, by verifying age and identification when required.


Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Participate in scheduled training sessions, complete required modules, and apply new knowledge to daily tasks.
Maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with coworkers, shift leaders, and store management.
Take on special assignments or projects as directed, contributing ideas that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Essential Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (required for all locations except Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.
Basic numeracy and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb as required for merchandising tasks.


Preferred Qualifications

At least six months of experience in a retail or customer‑service environment.
Prior experience working for arenaflex or a similar pharmacy‑retail chain.
Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency.
Experience in photo‑service kiosks or online order fulfillment.
