About The Role
This position offers remote work opportunities in a dynamic contact center environment. We are seeking a dedicated Business Insurance Agent - Intermediate for our Commercial Lines department.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in inbound sales to advise business owners on insurance and risk management.
Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members, non-members, and insurance carriers.
Ensure compliance with insurance standards and minimize errors through meticulous documentation.
Provide accurate risk management solutions based on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Utilize Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms to select appropriate products and carriers.
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate endorsements, renewals, and other underwriting decisions.
Perform Insurance to Value (ITV) calculations for diverse property types.
Handle account services including policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
1 year of insurance sales and service experience, preferably in commercial insurance.
Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of Commercial Lines Insurance account management experience.
Experience with Agency Management Systems, Salesforce, and multiple carrier environments.
Active P&C General Lines License for home state.
