Our mission is to deliver exceptional shopping experiences that exceed our customers' expectations, while creating opportunities for growth and development for our associates. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a positive and satisfying shopping experience * Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency * Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to arenaflex's security protocols * Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving merchandise in accordance with productivity standards * Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders * Maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable * Performing other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, visual merchandising, inventory management, and special projects **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred * Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred * Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required * Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting * Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required * Strong organizational and communication skills are required * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment * Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising * Experience working with technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to lift and move merchandise, as well as stand for long periods * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and inventory management * Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing and receiving feedback and support **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
