About the Role As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing a seamless travel experience for our clients. This involves handling ticket sales, check-in processes, and ensuring that our passengers are well taken care of from the moment they arrive at the airport until they board their flight. Your role is crucial in maintaining Delta's reputation for outstanding customer service and making every traveler feel valued. Key Responsibilities Ticket Specialist: Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets efficiently. Manage the check-in process, ensuring clients have the necessary documentation for travel. Label luggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to conveyor belts, handling items at various heights. Practice security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure. Gateway Specialist: Assist clients with wayfinding, trip planning, and gateway boarding processes. Use computers to help clients with seat availability, gateway declarations, flight status, checking and handling luggage, and initiating the boarding process. Work streamlined processes to put them in place prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. Authorization to live and work in the country you're applying in. Entry-level PC skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, using proper grammar, tone, and articulation. The ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in English (both written and oral); fluency in Spanish is also desirable.
