Job Summary As a Customer Service 401(k) Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our 401(k) participants, partnering payroll companies, stand-alone plans, and worksite employers. This role requires a customer-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple CRM applications. You'll have the opportunity to create a best-in-class experience for our clients using various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound phone, email, and chat inquiries from participants, employers, and PEOs regarding 401(k) plan administration. Educate callers on 401(k) regulations, compliance questions, and plan administration. Embody a culture of teamwork, problem-solving, and customer centricity to provide exceptional customer experiences, emphasizing first-call resolution. Ensure accurate, timely, and customer-focused service while meeting department performance metrics, such as quality, handle time, VOC, and adherence. Assist callers with navigating blithequark websites, registering online, and password resets. Apply knowledge obtained during classroom and on-the-job training to independently solve customer requests. Utilize multiple CRM applications, such as Salesforce and Relius, to address customer questions and resolve requests. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED. 2+ years of customer service experience (retirement plan experience is a plus). Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. A customer-first approach to service while maintaining regulatory and organizational compliance. The ability to adapt to change and be open to new ideas. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general website navigation. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can enhance your candidacy: Experience with CRM applications, such as Salesforce and Relius. Knowledge of 401(k) regulations and plan administration. A background in retirement plan services or a related field.
