Internship Overview – Your Role as a Customer Engineering Intern
This summer, arenaflex invites ambitious engineering students to become part of our Customer Engineering team. You will work side‑by‑side with seasoned professionals to support process improvement initiatives, product integration projects, and technical solutions that directly impact customer satisfaction and decision‑making. The internship spans 10–12 weeks of full‑time (40 hours per week) immersion, providing hands‑on exposure to real‑world engineering challenges, cross‑functional collaboration, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

Process Improvement Support: Assist in the refinement of Installation Quality Assurance (IQA) procedures and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) integration workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Data Delivery Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Validation & Performance Improvement (VPI) teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product data to customers.
Customer Technical Liaison: Build strong relationships with customer technical counterparts, facilitating the exchange of technical information and fostering trust.
Requirement Translation: Convert customer needs and field feedback into clear, functional product requirements that guide engineering design and development.
Advocacy for Market Needs: Represent the voice of the customer in product development and change management processes, ensuring that market demands are reflected in our solutions.
Application & Installation Assurance: Verify that products are applied and installed correctly, conducting validation of prototype performance and installation quality.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve moderately complex component or system issues, delivering actionable solutions to both internal teams and customers.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require

Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (higher GPA preferred).
Demonstrated technical customer management abilities, including clear communication and problem‑solving skills.
Experience or coursework related to product application support, machine integration, or installation quality assurance.
