Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Customer Development Manager to join our team at blithequark. As an Insights and Analytics expert, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Top National Customer by developing and executing category strategies that drive growth and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities Manage data sources to monitor the field execution of vendor programs and assortments, ensuring seamless category management. Communicate complex data insights to multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external retail customers, and key suppliers. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in analytics and provide actionable recommendations to drive sales, margin, and market development goals. Analyze and report data to identify trends, issues, and exceptions, and develop solutions to drive improvement. Track category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, and develop metrics to measure success. Create and deliver effective reports using POS data, Syndicated Data, and account-specific database information. Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to enhance inventory and fill rate objectives. Apply customer, consumer, and industry insights to deliver category growth and drive business results. Ensure superior client satisfaction by providing in-depth analytics and contributing to team problem-solving. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector, preferably in Adult Beverage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience working with syndicated data, category management principles, and shopper/consumer insights. Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations. Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, with intermediate to advanced knowledge. Assertive leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate changing market dynamics. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with Nielsen, IRI, or other syndicated data sources. Knowledge of Internal Shipment Data and Household Panel data. A proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong leadership capability.
