Job Overview:
S2Tech is seeking a Curam Functional SME with deep experience in eligibility and enrollment programs to support a major modernization effort for the State of Missouri. This role will focus on business processes, policy alignment, and system functionality across Medicaid and other assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
Provide functional expertise in Curam-based eligibility systems
Support business process analysis and workflow redesign
Translate policy requirements (including H.R.1) into functional system requirements
Assist with:
Eligibility determinations
Redeterminations
Work requirements
Verification processes
Support gap analysis between the current-state (Curam) and future-state platforms
Collaborate with technical and architecture teams to ensure alignment between:
Business needs
System capabilities
Assist with stakeholder engagement, training, and change management support
Required Qualifications:
5–10+ years of experience with Curam functional implementation
Strong background in:
Medicaid eligibility (MAGI preferred)
SNAP / TANF (nice to have)
Experience with:
Eligibility operations
Case management workflows
Ability to translate policy → system requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HHS modernization efforts
Familiarity with:
H.R.1 or similar federal policy changes
Experience working with:
State agencies
Systems integrators
Missouri experience strongly preferred
