Culinary Services Concierge

Remote Full-time
Summary: Completes daily administrative duties and coordinates reservations to support all TSG Culinary Services outlets and functions. 5-day per week schedule, part-time/evenings only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Answers phone calls in regard to all TSG Culinary Services outlets. Fields all questions directly related to the dinners.
  • Books reservations for all TSG Culinary Services outlets and functions utilizing Open Table software.
  • Collects credit card information to enter into the secure Open Table Credit Card vault.
  • Communicates to the General Managers of all TSG Culinary Services outlets, conveying special needs, requests, set up, etc.
  • Confirms the cover count to all TSG Culinary Services outlets General Managers.
  • Communicates regularly via email with Telluride and Mountain Village concierges to encourage dinner reservations. Includes menus and pricing.
  • Fields questions related to special events and directs the information to the TSG Events Manager who will contract the event.
  • Respond in a positive, professional manner to all guest inquiries, concerns and complaints whether in person or on the telephone.
  • Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel or when possible make call personally.
  • Answer questions relative to the organization and provide visitor and callers with address, directions, and other information.
  • Assists the front door team in peak seating times.
  • Updates TSG Member information in Open Table.
  • Provide administrative support to management team as needed. May include assistance with correspondence, bulk mailings, appointment calendars, data input, filing etc.
  • Special projects as directed and assigned.
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
  • Promotes and commits to recycling initiatives.
  • Adheres to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Explorer, Outlook Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word and Processing software.

Other Skills And Abilities

Must be able to answer and redirect a multi-line phone system.

Knowledge of The Town of Mountain Village and The Town of Telluride preferred.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The pay rate for this position is $24/hr.
