The Culinary Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting a culinary team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and providing excellent customer service. This remote position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members. The role involves a variety of clerical duties, event coordination, and inventory management, all aimed at facilitating the culinary team's success.

Responsibilities
• Point of contact between customers, vendors, and assigned department staff and managers to fulfill orders, place orders, answer customer inquiries and distribute relevant information

• Manage calendars and schedule appointments for the culinary team
,
• Handle incoming calls and emails, providing timely responses
,
• Prepare and maintain various documents, such as reports, memos, and invoices
,
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
,
• Coordinate travel arrangements for the culinary team
,
• Maintain accurate records of food and equipment inventory
,
• Place orders with suppliers as needed
,
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages
,
• Assist with planning and organizing culinary events, including catering and special functions
,
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution
,
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
,
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
,
• Strong organizational and time management skills
,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
,
• Attention to detail and accuracy
,
• Some related experience with billing and accounting
,
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
,
• Excellent cash handling skills and organizational skills
,
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
,
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English

Nice-to-haves
• One (1) year experience with accounting practices

• Basic understanding of culinary operations

• Previous experience in an administrative role
