CT Technologist-Part Time

Under the direction of the radiologist, provides CT services to patient for diagnosis. Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested. Position Specifics: o Schedule: Evenings/Nights, Part-time, 24 hours/week; Rotating weekends o Hospital Location: O'Fallon, IL Compensation that aligns with your experience Education Qualifications • Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required. Experience Qualifications • 1 year of radiology experience is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required. • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required. • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months. • Computed Tomography (CT) credential from ARRT is preferred. • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
