Credit Analyst/Underwriter - Auto Lending

Must Reside in the Eastern Time Zone As a Credit Analyst at UACC, you'll review and manage loan applications, ensuring they meet lending guidelines and are processed efficiently. You'll follow up with dealerships to secure contracts, restructure non-prime deals as needed, and make sound underwriting decisions based on credit analysis. Strong communication and relationship-building with dealerships and internal teams are key to success in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a Credit Analyst at UACC, you will: • Engage with Dealerships: Follow up with dealerships on automated decisioned loan applications to secure contracts and build lasting relationships. • Review and Approve Loans: Ensure that sales contracts align with program specifications or provide alternative solutions when necessary to meet lending guidelines. • Build Strong Relationships: Communicate regularly with dealers, the sales/marketing team, and funders to collaborate on solutions that drive success. • Negotiate and Restructure Deals: Work with dealerships to structure and restructure non-prime deals, ensuring the right balance between risk and reward. • Analyze Credit Data: Evaluate credit reports, customer information, and application structures to make informed, profitable underwriting decisions. • Achieve Your Goals: Meet monthly targets for production, quality, and customer satisfaction, driving both personal and team success. • Assess and Manage Risk: Carefully review loan applications to assess creditworthiness and ensure that all contracts meet company standards.
