Credentialing-Time Keeping Specialist
About the position
The Credentialing/Timekeeping Specialist at EDU Healthcare is responsible for verifying and obtaining credentials and new hire documentation for education and healthcare professionals. This role ensures compliance with relevant regulations, conducts onboarding, and manages timesheet accuracy while collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
ย Verify and obtain credentials and new hire documentation for education and healthcare professionals.

ย Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding licensure and certification.

ย Complete position-specific background checks and verifications.

ย Communicate with candidates regarding onboarding documents, timelines, and outstanding items.

ย Conduct virtual onboarding and training, presenting job-specific information and company policies.
,
ย Review timesheets for accuracy and completion.
,
ย Follow up with providers to gather additional information to meet timesheet and documentation requirements.
,
ย Collaborate with team members to communicate time-reporting issues as they arise.
,
ย Run various weekly reports to review timesheet submissions, hours worked vs. scheduled, variances, etc.
,
ย Participate in the weekly and monthly invoice submission process.
,
ย Serve as a liaison between front and back-office departments; attend weekly meetings as needed.
,
ย Support various human resources and finance functions and projects as needed.
Requirements
ย High School Diploma or higher preferred.
,
ย At least 3 years of professional administrative work experience is preferred; previous experience with credentialing, file management, recruiting, timekeeping/payroll, or new hire onboarding is a plus.

ย High level of computer efficiency and experience with multiple software programs.
Nice-to-haves
ย Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.

ย Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be detail-oriented.
