Creative Voice Corporate Headline Writer - 6 month contract remote $50hr - $55hr
We are seeking a Highly Creative Writer with Headline writing skills who can create content with feeling and voice within short messaging. If this is you we would like to see your portfolio. This is a for front of site high visibility content. Must be a working professional with a portfolio.
Our client is looking to add a writer to their team who can help be the voice of the company through creative headline writing.

Fully remote
M-F 40 hrs per week - flexible schedule
Front-of-Site team, you will work with product marketers, designers, and strategists to create a seamless connected commerce experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic copy that leads to business impact, including headlines, body copy, CTAs, and more. You will be asked to propose messaging frameworks and connect the dots in a customer-facing way. You will serve as a consulting expert on effective UX content ecosystems and work with strategists and designers to create ecommerce pages with exceptional UX.
As a content strategist, you will collaborate with large cross-functional teams to develop and deploy connected content systems, with world class storytelling at its core.
What you'll get to do...
• Work with the project teams to develop UX copy that communicates clearly, simply, and directly.
• Develop and write foundational messaging frameworks that can be leveraged by the project teams at large.
• Craft engaging headlines and copy.
• In collaboration with designers and strategists, create connected content ecosystems that drive business impact.
• Follow best processes and practices for accelerating teams work aligned to company objectives.
• Be a strategic creative problem solver and improver of content strategy for your assigned workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with leaders, designers, strategists, product managers, researchers, and technologists.
Required skills
• 5+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Creative Writing and headlines
• Strong and provable writing skills - (no misspelling in resumes)
• Agency advertising experience is a plus
• Experience writing for Ecommerce and websites.
• Experience developing content solutions for business impact, especially as a UX writer.
• Experience crafting engaging headlines and copy, adopting voice & tone
• Understanding of brand storytelling craft.
• Strong creative skills and a basic understanding of visual design.
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, possessing the ability to articulate content concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
