The Role We’re seeking a Creative Strategist / Editor who blends an editor’s eye with a direct-response marketer’s mindset and a performance-driven approach to creative. This role is not for a standard video cutter who waits for detailed storyboards. You’ll take a massive pool of UGC-driven assets—hooks, testimonials, b-roll, product shots, VO, motion graphics—and turn them into high-performing, conversion-focused paid social ads. You’ll identify winning angles, deconstruct top performers, and build “Frankenstein ads” designed to scale on Meta and other paid channels. This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, editing, and performance insight. What You’ll Do Creative Strategy & Narrative Building • Analyze top-performing ads weekly to identify winning angles, hooks, leads, and structures • Build high-performing “Frankenstein ads” by stitching proven segments into new narratives • Develop ad concepts and structure independently—you are the storyboard • Craft pacing, tone, and narrative flow optimized for scroll-stopping performance Data-Driven Editing • Interpret performance metrics such as thumb-stop rate, hold rate, CTR, and CAC • Build creative hypotheses and translate insights into testable variations • Collaborate closely with growth, analytics, and copywriting teams to iterate quickly Editing & Production • Edit short-form direct-response videos optimized for Meta • Navigate large asset libraries and extract the strongest elements efficiently • Produce multiple variations testing hooks, intros, CTAs, pacing, and angles • Collaborate with copywriters and UGC creators to guide future shoots when needed Collaboration • Partner with performance marketing and creator teams to identify gaps and opportunities • Clearly communicate creative rationale—why this hook, why this pacing, why this angle • Operate autonomously while staying aligned with broader performance goals What We’re Looking For • 3–5+ years of experience editing direct-response paid social ads (Meta/TikTok required) • Proven success building performance-driven, iteration-based ads (not just brand edits) • Deep understanding of hooks, angles, audience psychology, and platform behavior • Strong ability to interpret performance data and apply it to creative decisions • Comfort working inside large asset libraries and building structure from scratch • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple concepts simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with AI-assisted creative tools What Success Looks Like • You turn messy asset folders into winning ads without heavy direction • You can open a performance dashboard and immediately know what to build next • You bring fresh creative ideas weekly—not just respond to assignments • You consistently improve thumb-stop rate, hold rate, and lower CAC • Your Frankenstein ads become repeatable top performers that fuel scaling What We Offer • Competitive contractor compensation, commensurate with experience • Fully remote, flexible working arrangement • Opportunity to work with a fast-growing, performance-driven wellness brand • High-impact role with direct influence on paid media results Apply tot his job
