Creative Strategist - Marketing & PR
Our DTC CPG client is seeking a Creative Strategist - Marketing & PR! This role is remote, 20 hours/week with the possibility to go full-time. If full-time, Hybrid (Tuesday and Thursday) in El Segundo required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own creative strategy and execution for paid social advertising, with a primary focus on Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and secondary support for TikTok and YouTube
- Develop performance-driven, video-first ad concepts focused on customer acquisition and conversion
- Analyze weekly ad performance and insights, using data (and AI tools where helpful) to inform new concepts and iterations
- Source and shape content from UGC creators, influencers, and existing footage, with an emphasis on what performs best in paid social
- Partner with an internal editor by providing clear direction, briefs, and feedback; piece together concepts and request edits as needed
- Step in hands-on as needed to edit short-form video, write ad copy, and concept new creative
- Collaborate closely with the DTC paid advertising and growth teams to ensure creative aligns with acquisition goals
- Jump in quickly, handle a high volume of work, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Participate in meetings and be available during consistent business hours
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Proven experience creating paid social ads that drive conversions, ideally for DTC CPG brands
- Deep understanding of paid social best practices, especially for Meta platforms
- Strong marketing instincts and a clear grasp of what drives performance and conversions
- Experience working with video-heavy creative, including UGC and influencer-style content
- Ability to analyze ad performance and translate insights into actionable creative improvements
- Hands-on skills in concepting, copywriting, and light editing, with comfort owning work end-to-end when needed
- Experience collaborating with editors, designers, and growth teams
- Availability during standard business hours
