As our Creative Director, you will spearhead the development of innovative, client-centric creative solutions, partnering with account leads to conceptualize, design, and execute bold marketing strategies. You will establish and uphold the highest creative standards, inspiring your team to push boundaries and achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead our creative department, driving the design and delivery of outstanding print, digital, and presentation materials that exceed client expectations
Translate complex business strategies and technical requirements into cohesive, effective design solutions that meet client needs and brand goals
Communicate project timelines, costs, and expectations to ensure seamless execution and timely completion of projects within budget
Manage design projects from concept to implementation, supervising internal teams, external vendors, and freelance staff as needed
Champion the adoption of new technologies and innovative approaches to drive creative excellence and stay ahead of industry trends
Foster a collaborative, positive, and innovative product development environment that encourages creativity and growth
Art Direction Expertise:
Lead our creative team in delivering exceptional design solutions through constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship
Coordinate design projects from concept to production, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand integrity
Develop and maintain corporate/brand guidelines, measuring client work against these standards
Prepare and present creative deliverables, including best-practice guides and design principles
Articulate and champion design principles, ensuring that our creative output is innovative, effective, and aligned with client goals
Requirements:
10+ years of creative leadership experience in an interactive, design, or advertising agency
BA degree in Art/Design or a related field
Outstanding portfolio showcasing expertise in integrated print and digital technologies, including dimensional and interactive design
Proven experience in leading projects from concept to completion, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results
Experience in developing and managing brands, including style guide requirements and brand identity
Familiarity with the Pharma and/or managed markets industry is a plus
Up to 25% travel required
Essential Skills:
Ability to storyboard, translate ideas into design solutions, and develop innovative motion graphics
Understanding of print and digital design technologies, including their capabilities and limitations
Strong design aesthetic, with excellent knowledge of typography, color, layout, and brand identity principles
Competencies:
Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising, training, and developing creative teams
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to provide multiple creative solutions to complex problems
Ability to synthesize usability research, customer feedback, and business requirements into consistent and profitable design solutions
Experience in building, managing, and evaluating high-performing creative teams, with effective resource allocation and budgeting skills
We are committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000 - $163,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance, and disability benefits, among other perks.
