The Creative Advertising Advisor leads the development and execution of impactful, insight-driven global brand advertising campaigns that align with the strategic goals. This role is responsible for crafting and championing the creative vision across all brand advertising, from initial concept through final execution—ensuring consistency, innovation, and relevance across every touchpoint. Serving as both a creative strategist and executor, the Advisor oversees the entire creative lifecycle, including ideation, storyboarding, content development (copy, visuals, video), and cross-channel integration. They manage external agency partnerships to deliver best-in-class creative output, while building strong internal relationships to deeply understand business objectives, audience needs, and the broader marketing ecosystem. They manage external agency partnerships to deliver best-in-class creative output, while building strong internal relationships to deeply understand business objectives, audience needs, and the broader marketing ecosystem. This role requires strong communication and presentation skills to effectively advocate for creative direction to stakeholders and senior leadership, while also incorporating feedback into refined, strategically sound solutions. The Advisor also manages creative budgets and resources efficiently, partnering closely with media strategy to maximize impact and return on investment. With a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts, the Creative Advertising Advisor brings fresh thinking and forward-looking ideas to every campaign—driving innovation, elevating brand perception, and delivering measurable results. Job Responsibilities and Skills • Creative & Strategic Thinking • * Brand storytelling and narrative building • Cross-channel campaign ideation (digital, TV, print, social, OOH, etc.) • Strategic Marketing Knowledge • * Understanding of brand strategy and positioning • Customer and audience insight integration • Marketing funnel awareness (brand awareness to conversion) • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management • * Cross-functional team collaboration (marketing, media, data, product, etc.) • Agency/vendor management • Presentation and communication to senior leadership • Ability to balance creative integrity with business needs • Industry Awareness & Adaptability • * Awareness of trends in advertising, design, and consumer behavior • Understanding of emerging platforms (AI, AR/VR, short-form video, etc.) • Ability to pivot creative strategy based on evolving market needs • Keeping up with the cookieless advertising future and its creative implications Requirements 5+ years working in marketing, advertising, design or related field. A strategic mindset with a sharp eye for detail and design excellence. Superior executive presence, human relations, communications, networking and influencing skills. Strong project management and project management leadership experience. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experience in marketing, finance, computer science, engineering or related business discipline. Minimum Experience Five (5) years experience in a digital marketing or digital product management environment or demonstrated knowledge gained through coursework or work experience in digital product marketing, management, or technology support. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong ability to understand business and customer needs, customer/user experience management, product analysis and technology capabilities. Technical acumen. Strong collaboration, communications and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Memphis pay range: $7,488.36/mo - $12,355.79/mo; Pittsburgh pay range: $7,882.48/mo - $13,006.09/mo; Plano pay range: $7,882.48/mo - $13,006.09/mo Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
