Court Transcriptionist
TASK is seeking independent contractors specifically to transcribe hearings, depositions, etc. If you can transcribe an average of at least 90 minutes of audio per day, five days per week and especially if you can receive, own, and complete a 2+ hour hearing late in the day and return it overnight, we want to talk to you. A willingness to work during some weekends is appreciated. The work is demanding, but we pay well. Many of our transcriptionists have been with us over a decade. If you are accurate, reliable, and communicate with us, we expect to be working together for a long time. We invest heavily in providing you with the best possible opportunity to succeed with us. We start you with samples, style guides, and templates as well as a coach to help you learn the account(s) for which you will transcribe. Once you master this we do as much as possible to stay out of your way. You will need your own transcription software and MS Word.
