Overview:
The UK Country Manager is responsible for leading and accelerating sustainable revenue growth across the United Kingdom. This role sets and executes the country’s commercial strategy to deliver year-over-year top-line expansion, market share growth, and strong competitive positioning.As the senior commercial leader in the UK, the Country Manager builds and leads a high-performing organization, strengthens executive-level customer relationships, and ensures alignment between strategic priorities and commercial execution. The role represents Verathon externally in the UK market and internally as the voice of the country business.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute a multi-year UK growth strategy aligned with global and BU prioritiesDeliver consistent year-over-year revenue growth across all product portfoliosIdentify, prioritize, and capture high-value market opportunitiesLead strategic planning for key NHS accounts and national tender opportunitiesStrengthen Verathon’s market position and competitive differentiation in the UKCommercial ExcellenceDrive robust pipeline development and forecasting disciplineEnsure strong execution of pricing, tender, and contracting strategiesLeverage market insights and competitive intelligence to shape commercial directionGuide complex negotiations with senior stakeholders and procurement bodiesChampion value-based selling by articulating both clinical and economic impactOrganizational LeadershipBuild, develop, and inspire a high-performing UK commercial team including National Sales Managers across business units, and potentially Clinical Specialists and Territory ManagersAttract top talent and create a culture of accountability, ownership, and growthCoach and develop leaders within the organization to strengthen succession readinessCustomer & External EngagementEstablish and maintain strong executive-level relationships within key NHS Trusts and strategic accountsRepresent Verathon with senior healthcare leaders and procurement organizationsSupport major tenders and national framework agreementsAct as the primary commercial ambassador for Verathon in the UKGovernance & Operational AlignmentEnsure adherence to company policies, the 7 Verathon values, compliance standards, and UK healthcare regulationsOversee effective forecasting, reporting, and performance trackingDrive operational alignment to support growth initiativesReinforce Verathon Values and Leadership Principles throughout the organization

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred10+ years of commercial experience within the medical device industryDemonstrated success driving sustained revenue growth in complex healthcare marketsStrong knowledge of the UK NHS structure, procurement processes, and tender environmentProven ability to build and lead high-performing teamsExperience engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholdersStrong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and decision-making skillsAbility to translate clinical and economic value into compelling commercial propositionsMust reside in the UKWillingness to travel as required
