From technology to finance, every team collaborates to enable projects and turn challenges into opportunities.We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead our growth and diversification efforts in Chile. This role demands a solid background in the financial, payments, e-commerce and tech industries, with hands-on experience working within project groups in these sectors. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth market knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset.Key Responsibilities:Manage and foster relationships with merchants, partners, suppliers, and the local ecosystem.Achieve profit targets by segment for new sales and upgrades, mainly by guaranteeing that the Company has a solid set of partners with competitive cost and high level of performance.Develop and lead promotional initiatives leveraging local payment methods.Devise and execute activation strategies to decrease gross profit concentration at the country level.Expand the merchant base, forge partnerships, and explore new business channels.Represent EBANX at regional events and develop local partnerships with acquirers, banks, government agencies, and shareholders.Ensure contingency plans are in place to address any potential market challenges.Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling escalations as needed.Mandatory Qualifications:Native Spanish and fluent in EnglishStrong background in the financial, payment, e-commerce, or tech industries.Experience working in project groups within the financial/payments sector.Comprehensive knowledge of market intelligence and account management in complex environments.Experience working with payment processing or acquirer systemsCandidates should be open to an on-site work culture, initially from a co-working space, with the potential for a dedicated office as the team grows.Preferred Skills:Ambitious, results-driven, and adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strategic and creative problem-solving abilities.Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.If you are ready to take on the challenge of leading our market expansion in Chile, we would love to hear from you!Follow us on LinkedIn and check out our Instagram to learn more about the #ebanxlife.Originally posted on Himalayas
