Position Description
ā¢ Responsible for investigation, analysis and resolution of claims and demands made by attorneys representing consumers in the area of consumer litigation including lemon law, product liability and subrogation claims nationwide.
ā¢ Work on legal research projects involving warranty and automotive law questions.
ā¢ Retain and collaborate with the outside counsel for handling of consumer lawsuits.
ā¢ Manage, support and work on strategy of lawsuits filed by consumer attorneys.
ā¢ Work with and advise consumer affairs case managers on the best case handling and resolution.
ā¢ Attend mediations, arbitrations and trials along with outside counsel.
ā¢ Manage claims and lawsuits in the most cost-effective and efficient way.
ā¢ Provide counseling and training to the different departments, dealerships and business units, as needed.
Qualifications
ā¢ Passed CA bar exam
ā¢ 3+ years of litigation experience desired
ā¢ Prior consumer litigation or lemon law experience is a plus
Pay: 50/hr - $85/hr
