Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Lead M&A transactions from start to finish (“soup to nuts”)
• Advise emerging companies on acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary documents
• Coordinate due diligence and manage deal timelines
• Support venture financings and general corporate matters as needed
• Work directly with founders, executives, and boards
Key Qualifications
• 4–6 years of corporate and M&A experience
• JD from a top-tier law school
• Experience at top law firms
• Meaningful exposure to venture-backed M&A transactions
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Strong judgment, responsiveness, and comfort in fast-moving environments
Work Structure & Hours
• ~2/3 billable, ~1/3 non-billable
• Typical workweek: 40–45 hours
• Target billables: 1,800–2,000 (flexibility available)
• Protected nights and weekends
