Copy of Sourcing and Procurement Specialist - Consulting (Hybrid)
About the position
In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager and lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a range of indirect categories, including Professional Services and Technology. This is a hybrid role based out of our Costa Mesa, Ca office. Must be able to work in-office on a regular set basis.
You will:
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with KPIs and business goals, delivering measurable value through cost savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation.
ā¢ Manage the competitive bidding processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), evaluate supplier proposals, and make data-driven recommendations.
ā¢ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure favorable outcomes while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
ā¢ Draft contracts, negotiate redlines, edit supplier paper, collaborate with cross-functional teams for final reviews
ā¢ Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
ā¢ Develop partnerships with stakeholders in driving of key procurement sourcing strategies
ā¢ Maintain and enhance supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
ā¢ Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and technical teams to support contract development and supplier onboarding.
ā¢ Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation across assigned categories.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with procurement governance, regulatory standards, and internal policies
ā¢ Support the onboarding of new categories into the procurement ecosystem, bringing flexibility, and curiosity.
ā¢ Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies to support innovation and category expansion.
Requirements
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain roles.
ā¢ 3+ years leading complex sourcing initiatives, including contract negotiations and bidding.
ā¢ Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) models and technology sourcing.
ā¢ Familiarity with Marketing platforms, tools, and technology.
ā¢ Experience managing multiple indirect categories.
ā¢ Experience with contracting principles, supplier management, and category strategy.
ā¢ Experience with contract drafting and redlining.
ā¢ Proficiency with strategic sourcing methodologies and procurement tools (e.g., CLM platforms).
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
