Coordinator, Product Development Operations

The Coordinator, Product Development Operations will provide tactical support in new product development operations, focusing on critical activities that drive success in various business areas. Responsibilities Ownership of spreadsheets & processes (shipping, sampling, invoicing) Shipping & receiving product daily to external vendors as well as our Lyndhurst teams (QC, excess inventory, testing) Assist with entry & maintenance on consignment, sold sales orders, product returns, component returns, and work orders Manage, organize, and keep record of all vendor invoices Manage, track, and create sample and testing POs Assist BKK PD team with projects Assists VP of PD with special projects Provide analytical support including data collection and technical metrics Support additional manufacturing and engineering-related initiatives as needed Maintain systems as required including project management software (PLM, Oracle) this includes component shell set ups Skills Highly skilled with computers (databases, spreadsheets) Required to be in office as business needs Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong communication (English written and verbal) & interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, proactive thinking Willing to take initiative on processes Proven ability to work within a minimal supervision, fast-paced environment Self-starter attitude Willing to take on projects without hesitation Knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques, precious metal metallurgy and/or investment casting a plus Demonstrated experience in New Product Development and/or Manufacturing Process Improvement Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Oracle software Working knowledge of InDesign/illustrator/Photoshop a plus Benefits Access to healthcare benefits 401(k) plan Bonus Employee discounts Summer Fridays (corporate roles) Generous paid time off Sick time And more Company Overview David Yurman Inc. is a privately held American designer jewelry company founded by David and Sybil Yurman and headquartered in NYC.
