Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Year Round Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for cooking, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will play a pivotal role in preparing a diverse range of dishes to satisfy our guests while upholding the highest standards of food safety and kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily menu items, special events, and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations, storage areas, and utensils, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering and stocking as necessary to ensure sufficient supply for daily operations.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients when applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of current food trends, techniques, and cooking methods to continuously improve skills and elevate the quality of dishes.
• Adhere to portion control and waste management guidelines to maximize profitability and minimize food costs.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and culinary interns as needed, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Respond promptly to any customer requests or concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Participate in kitchen maintenance and equipment care to uphold safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus, but not required
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment and handle various kitchen equipment safely.
