In this role, you’ll oversee the maintenance and functionality of automation equipment controls and other controls systems as needed. This is an opportunity to work with custom, cutting-edge automation technology in a manufacturing environment.What You'll DoWork with automation engineers to create and implement programs and processes to optimize equipment efficiencyManage and perform equipment calibration, repairs, preventive maintenance, and testingPerform basic programming and installation of new and existing software required for equipment operationsWork within the SCADA system, look for opportunities for continuous improvementWhat We're Looking ForSignificant experience as a controls technician/engineerUnderstanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout proceduresAbility to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for multiple hours/dayAbility to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdownsA self-driven individual with a desire and ability to work under minimal supervisionA curious mind with a need to “get to the bottom” of issues and improvement opportunitiesDemonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English languageBonus Points ForBachelor’s degree in engineeringManufacturing experience, preferably in a maintenance or controls roleFor full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
